Clematis 'My Angel'

Masses of small nodding flowers, reddish-brown on the outside, bright yellow within. Flowers followed by silky seedheads. The result of a deliberate cross between C. orientails var orientalis and C. intricata raised by Wim Snoeijer of Holland. Introduced by Dutch nurseryman Jan van Zoest and named after his wife, Engelina (Engel is Dutch for angel).
