Clematis 'Pink Pride'

Small, nodding flowers, light blue-violet at the edge of the tepals, darkening to pink towards the centre and on the ribs. The form has pale pink filaments bearing green anthers and the flower stem is frequently dark red. Slight scent of cowslips. Raised by Ian Lang and named in 2005 by Richard Green. 'Pink Pride' was registered to mark the passing into law in the UK of the Civil Partnership Act which recognises same-sex relationships.
